Lesson 7 of 74 · A1, Unit 3: Every day
Food, drink, and a café
This lesson covers the everyday food words plus the handful of sentences you need in a café or restaurant: ordering, saying you're hungry or thirsty, and asking for the bill.
To order, you name the thing in the accusative (usually a -t ending) and add kérek, 'I ask for': Egy kávét kérek.
By the end you can:
- name common food and drink and the three meals
- order in a café using the -t object ending and kérek
- say you are hungry or thirsty, and ask for the bill
