Lesson 46 of 74 · A2, Unit 4: Health, feelings, and people
At the doctor
health-and-the-body gave you fáj + possessive for what hurts; this lesson builds a full doctor's visit around it — how long you've felt this way, what the doctor asks, and what they tell you to do.
kell + infinitive shows up constantly in a doctor's instructions: Sok vizet kell innia ('You need to drink a lot of water'), using the formal -nia ending for 'you' out of politeness.
By the end you can:
- describe symptoms in more detail and say how long you've felt unwell
- understand common doctor's questions and instructions
- get and understand a simple diagnosis
