Lesson 44 of 74 · A2, Unit 1: Daily life
Reflexive verbs
daily-routine already gave you mosakszom ('I wash myself') and öltözködöm ('I get dressed') as fixed forms; this lesson shows the -kodik/-kedik/-ködik pattern behind them, so you can recognise and build more reflexive-style verbs yourself.
These verbs are technically -ik verbs (see daily-routine), so the 'I' form uses -om/-em/-öm, not -ok/-ek: borotválkozik → borotválkozom, not borotválkozok.
By the end you can:
- recognise the -kodik/-kedik/-ködik reflexive pattern
- use borotválkozik, készülődik, and fésülködik for personal grooming
- conjugate a reflexive -ik verb in the 'I' and 'you' forms
