Survival phrases
A short list to keep in your back pocket: the words for a problem, for reassurance, and for getting help fast.
The single emergency number in Hungary is 112. The phrases here are the ones to say once someone picks up, or to a passer-by.
By the end you can:
- call for help and ask for a doctor, a pharmacy, or the police
- say you don't know, it's fine, or watch out
- ask whether anyone nearby speaks English
