Technology and the internet
Modern tech vocabulary in Hungarian is mostly borrowed and easy to recognise: internet, e-mail, alkalmazás. A few core words are native: számítógép ('computer', literally 'counting-machine') and telefon.
To ask for a wifi password, Mi a wifi jelszava? works in almost any café or hotel in Hungary.
