Lesson 49 of 74 · A2, Unit 6: Practical dialogues
Weekend plans
making-plans gave you the phrases to suggest and accept; this lesson strings them together into a real back-and-forth about a whole weekend, using the future tense from fog + infinitive.
Hungarian names the day before the time when arranging something: Szombaton fogunk találkozni ('We'll meet on Saturday') — the day comes first, just like in a diary entry.
By the end you can:
- propose and negotiate a specific day and time to meet
- use the future tense together with days of the week
- handle a change of plan politely
