Lesson 43 of 74 · A1, Unit 6: Time and everyday things
At the restaurant
food-and-drink gave you the core menu words and kérek; this lesson adds a full restaurant visit — a table, a menu, starters and mains, and the phrases a waiter uses back.
To say you're allergic to something, use Allergiás vagyok plus the thing in the -ra/-re case: Allergiás vagyok a diófélékre ('I'm allergic to nuts') — a preview of an ending you'll meet properly soon.
By the end you can:
- ask for a table and request the menu
- order a starter, a main course, and a dessert
- say what you're allergic to and ask about the bill
