Lesson 21 of 74 · A2, Unit 4: Health, feelings, and people
Feelings and personality
Feelings mostly work like other adjectives with vagyok: Boldog vagyok ('I'm happy'), Fáradt vagyok ('I'm tired').
Personality words describe character rather than mood — vidám ('cheerful') describes someone generally, while boldog ('happy') can be a passing feeling.
By the end you can:
- say how you feel: happy, sad, tired, angry, excited, nervous
- describe someone's personality: kind, funny, smart, lazy, shy
- ask how someone is feeling, beyond Hogy vagy?
