Lesson 26 of 74 · A2, Unit 5: Grammar milestones
The future and plans
The easiest future is fog + infinitive: Fogok dolgozni ('I will work') — the same infinitive from szeretek + infinitive. fog conjugates for person; the main verb stays in its dictionary -ni form.
For near-certain plans, the present tense often does the job on its own, just like English 'I'm working tomorrow': Holnap dolgozom already means 'I'll work tomorrow.'
By the end you can:
- build the future with fog + infinitive
- use the present tense for near-certain plans, as English does
- talk about tomorrow, next week, and next year
